Ulano Hardner X – An elixir for a long stencil life

Hardener X is a post-exposure and processing, liquid screen stencil hardener which improves the stencil durability of textile direct emulsions, including 925WR, TZ, LX-630, LX-660 AND QTX®. It’s for industrial use only.

Although Hardner X may make your stencils last exceptionally long, reclaiming your mesh might become impossible. Stencil hardeners penetrate the stencil and form an additional chemical bond with the mesh that stencil removers cannot break. Ulano hardeners can be used with most textile emulsions, but will make stencil removal more difficult and may make the stencil brittle.

How to use a Ulano Hardner X or Stencil Hardner Like a Pro

1. Before using Ulano Hardner X or Stencil Hardner, prepare the stencil with Reclaim and Prep chemicals.
2. Apply Ulano Hardener X to both sides of the screen with a soft bristled brush or sponge after the stencil has been properly exposed, washed out and thoroughly dried. Blot excess solution from the image area.
3. Allow the screen to cure for 24 hours at room temperature. To accelerate the curing process, the screen can be exposed to heat, not exceeding 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees centigrade), for one hour.

Ulano Hardener X is for industrial use only and should be used only in well ventilated areas. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes, mucous membranes, and clothing. Ulano Hardener X may be harmful if swallowed. Wear rubber gloves and eye goggles. Avoid contact with the skin. Wash hands promptly after use.

In case if Ulano hardner X gets in contact with skin or eyes, then CALL THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. Do not attempt to induce vomiting. It is advisable to wear gloves and a mask while using this product. Remember our safety is in our own hands. This product is for industrial use only, and it is recommended that organizations using this product demonstrate the safe usage of Ulano Hardner X. Proper training and education of health hazards and other concerns must be meted out to the workers, staff or industrial laborers carrying out screen printing operations using this product.

First Aid Tip! If Hardner X gets in the eyes, flush immediately with water for at least 20 minutes. External-flush exposed areas with water for 15 minutes.
